So we had this beautiful Fall Breakfast Buffet in past few weeks.
It is an annual event,
last year we made the table theme,
"Fall Chicken and Sunflowers."
At least I think that would be a good name for it,
we had these lovely centerpieces, for the buffet,
from one of my best-ies!
Isn't this rooster, GORGEOUS!
And these sweet little dollar store birdhouses,
for centerpieces, on each of the tables.
Everything was beautiful.
This year, was my turn to bring "the stuff".
My besties then helped arrange the table with me.
What would I do without them, don't even want to think about it?

We still used the outrageous tablecloth that is the size of two banquet tables long.
Belonging to one of friends, who is AMAZING!

Now who doesn't have one of these lying around, am I right?
Believe you me, very useful!
Check out the fruit platter and breads, YUM-MIE! Food doubles as the main event and dressing too! |
Then, the orange spools of tulle were added and of course my beloved burlap.
Next came some gourds, sadly, still naked at this point, I hadn't thought to dress them yet.
I had this old picnic basket, and placed some boxes inside to elevate the mums, the middle one should of been sunken in a little deeper, or had burlap around the base. Oh well, live and learn.
This year, the Icon of the Hospitality of Abraham also adorned the table.
I love this icon, so rich in meaning.
I'll share another tip, learned from the same bestie, who owns the tablecloth,
about dressing a table
about dressing a table
"Make levels"
They make all the difference.
Mums, Wheat and Pumpkins, oh my!
Can you pick out some of the things that are also on my Fall Mantle?
Quite a few were reused here, there are at least 6 things in the picture below.
Some from last year too!
Can you say, sweater pumpkins?
So, in short, tips for dressing a buffet table
1. Have a long enough tablecloth
2. A theme helps, keep it simple
3. Great food-a must!
4. LEVELS
5. Good friends, lots of hands and love

Any ideas for a theme next year?
What are your faves for the fall table?
Share the Day.
Sharing with these lovely parties.
